Winter Tire Change
Tire tread and sidewall repair versus replacement. Repair: Punctures, nails, holes, or cuts up to 6mm on the tire tread. A 1-piece tire patch and plug system must be applied to repair the tire injury. The patch and plug must be applied from within the tire, to the inner tire lining. Replace: Punctures larger than 6mm on the tire tread; any sidewall punctures; tires worn below the wear indicator bars located on the tire; the tire cord or steel belt is exposed.
